Women And The Labyrinth Of Leadership For The Church by Marijane Rishwan, 1 March, 2017 This year, the church in New York City has delivered the greatest lectures on leadership, organization and culture so I like to highlight a wide array of programs that teach and develop individual human capacity, leading to breakthroughs and work-standings and personal, anonymous spiritual experiences for social gain. This year’s conference, originally called The Teaching of Grace, also called Christ Church (or Spiritual Resource Center), focuses on The Church Leadership Center, a place where leaders inspire and engage people of all walks of life in order to work toward their dreams. One of the most fascinating projects I’ve seen during this period is trying to understand leadership more fully, ask for the needed ideas more creatively, and develop the most relational solutions to transform communities and the future of all our lives. You will meet powerful leaders and mentors, write pieces on what it is like to serve in this world and think concretely about what it means to you to not be “slaves.” I’ve seen this building up for leaders with powerful teams and partners, leading us to problems, working to solve them, and do real service to our communities as they move. So the next building-up for me is what I call a Realtor Challenge program – in which you build and mentor people who’ve invested time in transforming (the real, real value of) a community to reach its goals. For me, the goal here is to walk the earth, through history, along paths and with the past, and see how people, places, cultures, and practices have shaped and lead here on the planet, and how they have affected each other, as they grew and molded in the world.
