When it comes to my classroom work, especially relating to some of my social engagement research for The Texas Family Center (TFC), this one feels way better. I keep picturing another ‘parenting curriculum’ which our parents and teachers would create. What would be the point of ‘educational stuff’ we can create, much less ‘make content like that’? My ‘content based’ approach is for school teachers to ‘educate’ something via a content-based curriculum, rather than having it be an instruction manual. Although that may sound strange, at least my own case based approach has worked for several ‘content based’ curriculum approaches over the years thanks to the recent popularity of Content Marketing as a way for our children to learn more about a subject over a longer period of use. One common misconception from the parents today is that they aren’t trying to use more than ‘a collection of good content as an instructional style’, so they aren’t calling a curriculum like this ‘content based’.
