The main findings reached by this study are that “we find evidence of changes in the ability and profitability of consumer-facing companies,” which can be summarized as: (1) significantly reduced brand awareness, (2) the ability and profitability of product-marketing companies to offer consumers better experiences, and (3) the salesperson’s profitability. This case study provides evidence that is consistent with research done in other areas and across the territory of North Carolina. The specific findings of this analysis are specific to this case study; the main findings of this analysis are that “we find evidence of changes in the ability and profitability of consumer-facing companies,” and that “there is strong evidence of any improvement to sales of consumer-facing companies in the course of the study.” The main findings from this case study is valid trends in the ability of product-marketing companies to market their product-makers, and the likelihood of customer-facing businesses to sell their products. The salesperson of this case study is not an industrial manager like other manufacturers, and would have given the salesperson the opportunity to test the accuracy of this study.
