Problem Statement of the Case Study
Dell, a company known for high-performance, high-quality, and high-cost computer hardware, was facing serious financial problems. In the early 1990s, the company suffered from the market crash caused by the 1991 recession, when businesses slowed down and consumers shifted their spending away from electronics.
