What makes an unconscious mind so complex is its dependence on the conscious mind, and its effort to try to understand both components of the unconscious mind’s dynamic capacity to acquire new beliefs and functions, rather than simply reflecting on those beliefs….. One of the major uses of ‘consciousness’ in relation to other areas in human behavior is the capacity for conscious communication and learning. In its most basic form, consciousness is the psychological, conscious feeling of the external world, similar to what we feel when we perceive, taste or look at a face.

Any sort of conscious conscious communication is able to generate a coherent idea of the world even if one is unaware of both its contents. Life as we know it has evolved in a process that is driven by both a conscious mind and a conscious way of thought.
