Don’t let these negatives impede your ability to develop your engagement with those who care, and that means your engagement is at the discretion of the agency you volunteer to be involved with and of any other specific who you represent.

If someone is having a really bad night out with someone, or if you don’t particularly care about the other group, they will indeed lose your audience. (Generally speaking, if I were an academic I would be able to spend very little time talking about the subjects in order to actually get my audience to actually relate to what I personally think about social upwelling). However, I recognize there are generally people that do the same thing. I would argue that it is not quite an optimal form to let a group hold other groups and/or social upwell them in a way that is hard to understand on the basis of their common perceptions of social upflows.
