Benetton Spa Restaurant The Cathedral Spa restaurant was founded in 1978 at the moment the New York City apartment club and which was at that time the oldest single family restaurant in the city. It was opened on June 1, 1986, and occupied the first floor of New York’s Village Community Center. The restaurant was subsequently the property for Chelsea Group’s luxury property, luxury restaurant chain, Chelsea Avenue Club, Tiffany’s Club House, and New York Live Film Club. It still has the name carved into the facade. The owner is Patti Malibet, the niece of Michael Malibet, an ex-NFL legend. The restaurant has been nationally owned and ranked number 36 in the London 2020s Lifestream by Lifestream.com. History The restaurant, originally located just south of New York City’s Manhattanz skyline, opened in a building known as “Stuff”. It was also a restaurant mostly owned and operated by James B. Delany, a friend and supporter working for Chelsea Group, and he also helped launch its first commercial restaurant, Chelsea-Bish-Chapel.

In 1969, the building opened, and the name was changed to Chelsea Spa, as his explanation other name was changed to Chelsea Bar.
