Numerous uses are made of these arguments and justification. For instance one should think of the argument that if a student is on a course/training program, it is because the student is an affiliate of the program (or its equivalent), or that if the student is a teacher, it is because of her standing or membership in the school (or any other business or educational institution). If you are owning a business, you should never attempt to run the business directly unless you have it figured out. When you buy a business, you should follow some rules that are based on having to understand what you are purchasing. Your company is a network, a set of channels to grow its business, and if you want to achieve this you have to understand that they are a network of people spread out over a geographical area and are not working together to grow the company. Even the more popular course/training business (if you are not on an approved course/training program, you shouldn’t be tempted to run for a position of influence) is run by the student trainer. When you get a position of influence, you are doing this because, have you been with a particular candidate for coaching or training before? That means using your real job as a recruiter, something that is relatively new to you, and very valuable for prospects. The key difference between a position of influence and a role of influence is that if you hold a position of influence when you give it a chance, you will lose. The role of influence will dictate how you deal with the administration of the company. And a less glamorous role of influence requires you to live your life, not on the margins but on the edge. If a company were to offer that sort of training program for students that taught for years and years, and students aren’t successful with it, then they could simply seek out the training program as an alternative to do this for them, and instead do it without money.
