Leading Across Cultures At Michelin Auctions December 23, 2017 Marcelli (Melissa Radner) Although the Michelin Art Fair in Philadelphia may be on its last legs, it is certainly going to be a fascinating time for the designer. New clothing of the world, more stylish through the eyes of highly regarded designers, are being created by the artist. Michelin has been one of the premier Paris art fairs this year, with their only competition at this year’s show, Sixton’s Art Fair (15 minutes). These particular show offerings have the original theme (or a combination of both) in mind while showcasing all sorts of cool designs over the course of the show. So when they capture the spirit of one particular show-out at Sixton’s, I completely get them buzzing. Joining us are, of course, Michael Milburn and Mark Turner. They have been hard at work on many things in the exhibition. There are a few highlights from their work, but they make for an impressive display at the show. On the way around to Sixton’s, they showed some very interesting drawings, which show the artwork moving forward year upon year. These drawings are based on works illustrating contemporary art.

As an artist myself I wanted to take a slow and deliberate break from my daily routine. It was that time of the year when I didn’t have the funds or luck to pay for a proper show in the city.
