The Barakat Rambis The Barakat Rambis, also called the Araki Rambis, is a protected heritage site in Mevarapur, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. It consists of a two-storey enclosure, one of historical importance and the two main gate buildings of Barakat Rambis. It is one of the few places in the State of West Bengal which has not been passed off as part of the State of West Bengal. It was built on the site since 1750 and called the “Gubang” until 1890.
